At Happier Hearts Care we have adapted our ways of working and we will continue to follow all the guidance for working safely, in order to protect you and our team which is our top priority.


We have outlined below the guidelines we will continue to work under:

  • We will continue to work solo

  • We will wear all necessary PPE including masks, gloves, aprons and shoe covers whilst carrying disinfectant wipes and hand sanitiser

  • We will continue to disinfect all of our equipment after each use

  • We will continue to use fresh mop heads and cloths for each client

  • We will clean as normal, but also disinfect with virucidal products

  • Clients will be asked, where possible, to be out whilst we clean or to stay in a separate room at all times

  • We have completed and hold certification in infection control

  • Clients will be contacted, by phone, the morning of the appointment to ensure that there are no COVID-19 symptoms within the household. Should we determine on arrival that there are any COVID-19 symptoms within your household then they will leave without carrying out any service/s. You may be charged for these services and/or a COVID-19 test for the staff member/s who entered your household if you did not disclose COVID-19 symptoms during your phone call that morning.
